1st Chainmaille jewellery making lesson

Tomorrow I will host first jewellery making lesson in Chainmaille jewellery.

My plan is to teach my students classic byzantine weave, unless they will have other wishes.

Restoring bracelet

I have received this bracelet to repair. The fastener on one side came off. (Or course I thought about taking pictures of the repair process after I've repaired it) .
I had to re thread it. I added some seed beads #11 where bracelet connects to the clasp. This should prevent the thread from fraying.

African Stripes

I would like to show you finished "mud cloth" ropes from Beadline Studios, handmade by me.

Materials:

• Matsuno seed beads size #8

Anklet

I was asked to extend the Turkish round bracelet (only 4 inches) and add some sparkle to it. This now became an anklet. Today I am showing it to the customer. I hope she likes it.

• Silver plated wire

Here is my bit towards Queen's Diamond Jubilee - earrings with beads in Union Jack's colours.
